Information Security Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY: The Information Security Analyst I evaluates, plans, designs, configures, and implements security systems to protect the organization’s computer networks from cyber-attacks and helps set and maintain security standards. Analyzes, tests, troubleshoots, and maintains installed systems and support users. This role will operate and monitor network and host-based intrusion detection/prevention systems, recommends security solutions, advises on systems and application-level security configurations, and investigates and mitigates security risks as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Associates degree in Computer Science with 1 year experience in Information Technology and/or Cybersecurity OR 3 years’ experience in Information Technology and/or Cybersecurity. Other skills/knowledge: Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Knowledge of healthcare information technology or cybersecurity at a level normally acquired through the completion of a bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Computer Science or other closely related field Certifications - CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, (ISC)2 Associate. Other IT-related certifications will be considered Experience: Previous work-related experience within the healthcare information technology or cybersecurity industry. Expected pay for this position is $34.57 - $40.66/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.
