Fabrication/Hardware Assistant

• Supports various departments on shop floor including but not limited to: Fabrication, Hardware insertion, Shipping/Packaging, Powder (prep)·
• Ability to read/learn to read and accurately interpret prints.
• Previous knowledge, experience interest in metal work/fabrication; assembly of products etc.
• Ability to accurately identify various metals such as a variety of Steels, Aluminum, etc.
• Ability to learn Hardware insertion
• Operate Finishing equipment such as a Fladder, Hand grinders, deburring equipment, etc.
• Mechanically inclined and able to use a variety of power and hand tools.

Fabrication/Hardware Assistant Qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. with regularity. (average parts run 2-15 lbs)
• Physical ability to stand, squat, bend, reach, pull and push during course of an 8 or 10 hour shift.
• Attention to detail and fine tactical ability.
• Ability to follow and retain instructions.
• Organizational skills.
• Pallet jack and/or forklift experience helpful.
• Reliable/dependable attendance record.
• Ability to take direction; working as a part of a team as well as independently.
• Minimal computer experience (Word/Excel, business software system).
• Job Shop experience preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Full Time work available
• Second Shift (Monday through Thursday from 03:15pm to 01:45am)
