Desktop Support Technician

Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide onsite and remote technical support for one of our clients. This individual will troubleshoot Windows devices, Microsoft 365 applications, user accounts, peripherals, and basic networking issues. They will also manage support tickets, configure computers, assist with mobile devices and inventory, and escalate complex issues when needed. Day-to-Day Troubleshoot desktop, Microsoft 365, account, software, and peripheral issues Manage tickets and document resolutions within required service levels Reset passwords and support user accounts through Active Directory Image, build, and configure computers for employees Assist with mobile devices, equipment procurement, and inventory Support executives and escalate non-standard technical issues

Must-Haves 2+ years of desktop or IT support experience Experience troubleshooting Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 Knowledge of Active Directory, password resets, and user support Experience troubleshooting computers, printers, monitors, and other peripherals Basic networking and remote desktop support knowledge Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple tickets and work with employees at all levels Ability to routinely lift IT equipment and occasionally lift 60 to 100 pounds Plusses Associate degree in Computer Science or a related field Experience imaging and configuring computers Exposure to mobile device management and IT inventory processes

Compensation: $18/hr to $20/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
