Lead React UI Developer

We are seeking a hands-on Lead React UI Developer to lead the modernization of a large-scale digital portal and enhance the overall customer experience, performance, and security of enterprise web applications. This role combines deep front-end engineering expertise with technical leadership responsibilities, driving the design and development of scalable, responsive, and accessible React applications integrated with modern REST APIs and enterprise authentication systems. The ideal candidate has successfully led React-based enterprise application implementations, thrives in Agile delivery environments, and is passionate about front-end architecture, engineering excellence, CI/CD automation, security, accessibility, and mentoring development teams. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and modernization of React-based enterprise UI applications integrated with REST/JSON APIs
• Define reusable UI components, shared patterns, and scalable front-end architecture standards
• Drive front-end integration with enterprise authentication/authorization solutions including SSO, OAuth2, and OIDC
• Partner with backend, platform, UX, and product teams to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions

• Provide technical leadership across the SDLC including:

• Solution design
• Estimation
• Development
• Code reviews
• Release readiness
• Production support

• Establish and enforce engineering standards for:

• Accessibility (WCAG)
• Performance optimization
• Secure coding
• Observability
• Maintainability
• Improve and support CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
• Mentor developers and promote best practices across the engineering organization

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong leadership in modern web UI development

• Deep hands-on expertise with:

• React
• JavaScript
• TypeScript
• React Hooks
• State Management

• Strong experience with modern React tooling/frameworks including:

• Vite
• React Compiler
• Linting tools
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles including SOLID and Domain-Driven Design
• Experience integrating enterprise authentication and authorization solutions (SSO, OAuth2, OIDC)
• Strong expertise consuming REST APIs and managing configurations across environments

• Experience implementing automated testing practices using:

• Jest
• React Testing Library
• Cypress or Playwright
• Experience leading Agile software delivery teams (Scrum/Kanban)
