Job description

• Develop custom automation concepts based on customer requirements.
• Prepare technical proposals, project scopes, cost estimates, pricing, and risk assessments.
• Build customer relationships and identify opportunities for account growth.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Project Management to ensure project feasibility and successful execution.
• Manage scope changes, project milestones, and customer communication.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor junior applications engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in applications engineering, project management, or engineered solutions.
• Experience with custom automation, capital equipment, or complex engineered systems; medical device or life sciences experience preferred.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, cost estimation, and technical proposal development.
• Strong customer-facing, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and PandaDoc or similar tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
