Embedded Software Developer C/Bare-Metal near Munich 95% Remote

• Develop low-level embedded software in C for 32-bit microcontrollers
• Design and optimize hardware-related drivers and low-level functionalities
• Translate technical requirements into robust and efficient software solutions
• Develop bare-metal software without operating systems
• Integrate and control hardware interfaces and peripherals
• Perform debugging, testing, and issue analysis directly on hardware
• Create technical documentation and support engineering reviews
• Contribute to the development of safety-critical embedded systems in a regulated environment

Do you have experience in Software development?, * Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a comparable technical field

• Several years of hands-on experience in embedded software development
• Strong expertise in C and low-level embedded programming
• Experience with bare-metal development and ARM Cortex-M architectures
• Knowledge of 32-bit microcontrollers and hardware driver development
• Experience with UART, SPI, I2C, GPIO, timers, and debugging interfaces such as JTAG/SWD
• Confident working with GCC, ARM-GCC, and common embedded toolchains and IDEs
• Ideally experience with FreeRTOS, LDRA, or safety-critical standards such as DO-178C, Please be advised that a valid work permit for Germany is required for non-EU citizens. Unfortunately, applications without a valid work permit and sufficient German language skills may not be considered.

Salary: approx. €50.000 - €85.000 gross per annum (in accordance with the GVP collective agreement and the TV BZ ME, with remuneration increasing over the course of the assignment until equal pay is achieved).
