Your tasks:

  • Design and develop electronic circuits and PCB layouts for autonomous UAV and robotic platforms
  • Define scalable electronic architectures for embedded and electromechanical subsystems
  • Translate system and mission requirements into detailed electronic specifications and hardware concepts
  • Integrate communication interfaces such as CAN, Ethernet, and RS422/485 into complex onboard systems
  • Design cable harnesses, connectors, and power/data distribution concepts for harsh environments
  • Support ECAD/MCAD integration and collaborate closely with mechanical, embedded software, and systems engineering teams
  • Perform hardware bring-up, validation, debugging, and qualification testing including EMC-related activities
  • Create and maintain technical documentation including schematics, PCB layouts, BOMs, and integration drawings

Requirements

Do you have experience in Systems engineering?, * Degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, or a comparable technical field

  • Strong experience in analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design as well as PCB development
  • Hands-on experience with Altium Designer or KiCad and simulation tools such as LTSpice
  • Solid knowledge of embedded hardware architectures, communication protocols, and hardware validation
  • Experience with connector, harness, and integration design in complex electromechanical systems
  • Understanding of EMC, reliability engineering, FMEA, and validation methodologies
  • Experience in robotics, autonomous systems, maritime technology, drones, or other harsh-environment applications is beneficial
  • Fluent English skills and willingness to travel approximately once per month to EU, Please be advised that a valid work permit for Germany is required for non-EU citizens. Unfortunately, applications without a valid work permit and sufficient German language skills may not be considered.
