Job description
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build scalable and resilient Microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Implement event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka.
- Design and optimize data storage and retrieval using Cassandra NoSQL database.
- Develop efficient data processing and messaging solutions.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure application stability.
- Collaborate with architects, QA, DevOps, and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Java backend development.
- Strong expertise in Core Java, Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and Cassandra.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, data modeling, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Good understanding of multithreading, design patterns, and secure coding practices.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of AWS/Azure or other cloud platforms.
- Experience with monitoring tools and production support.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
