ResponsibilitiesNetwork Deployment & Implementation

• Configure, deploy, and validate routers, switches, wireless access points, and cellular connectivity solutions.
• Support network refreshes, site turn-ups, upgrades, and infrastructure implementations.
• Validate connectivity, wireless coverage, routing, failover functionality, and application access.

Network Operations & Support

• Troubleshoot routing, switching, wireless, WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, and voice-related issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve network outages and performance concerns.
• Participate in incident response, maintenance windows, and escalation activities.
• Support ongoing operations of data, voice, wireless, and edge network services.

Documentation & Continuous Improvement

• Maintain network diagrams, implementation records, configuration documentation, and support procedures.
• Document troubleshooting efforts, change activities, and operational processes.
• Assist with monitoring, alert review, configuration validation, and reliability improvements.

Technical Environment

• Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, NX-OS
• Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, and ACI
• TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP
• SD-WAN, DMVPN, IPSec VPN
• Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC)
• LTE/5G and cellular failover technologies
• Wireshark, NetFlow, SNMP, Syslog
• SolarWinds and similar network monitoring tools

• 3+ years of hands-on network engineering or network support experience.
• Active CCNA certification preferred.
• Strong experience supporting Cisco networking environments.
• Working knowledge of routing, switching, wireless networking, WAN technologies, VPNs, and TCP/IP.
• Experience supporting multi-site, branch, retail, campus, or enterprise environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and occasional after-hours maintenance activities

This is a Contract position based out of Bradenton, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $42.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
