Job description
As a UX Engineer, you’ll deliver end-to-end frontend features across order management and risk management systems, working closely with backend engineers and other teams on functionality spanning the full stack. You’ll have genuine influence over UI design principles, frontend architecture and the tools used to build and maintain a consistent product experience.
Using React and TypeScript, you’ll develop intuitive interfaces, real-time market data visualisations and high performance, spreadsheet like data grids. You’ll help establish WebSocket based communication between frontend and backend services, improve state and data management and contribute to the evolution of a scalable frontend monorepo. You’ll also use frontend monitoring and session replay to understand real user behaviour, investigate issues and continuously improve the experience.
AI assisted development is an important part of the engineering culture. You’ll use AI tools thoughtfully, taking ownership of the code they produce, while exploring agentic workflows, design-to-code automation and integrations with tools such as Figma and MCP to make frontend development more efficient and consistent.
