Platform Infrastructure DevOps

We are seeking a Senior Platforms Engineer for a Platform Infrastructure DevOps role within the Platform Development team, driving the transformation of infrastructure automation initiatives. This position blends deep technical expertise with strategic initiative to enhance infrastructure platform performance, reliability, and innovation across the enterprise IT landscape., The engineer establishes and maintains platform standards, resolves complex technical challenges, and develops automation frameworks that enable data-driven decision-making. The role leads the design and implementation of infrastructure automation, CI/CD for infrastructure operations, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevSecOps, and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes, and provides technical leadership in Software-Defined Networking (SDN), Network as Code, Software-Defined WAN (SD-WAN), and Zero Trust Network Architecture. Explore more opportunities on our IT job openings page., * Identify performance bottlenecks, conduct root cause analysis, and implement solutions that improve platform and system performance and resource utilization, including benchmarks and capacity planning

• Improve troubleshooting procedures and documentation, lead escalated technical support efforts, and perform advanced system tuning using IT Service Management practices
• Participate in platform and system backup planning, and lead the design and testing of disaster and system recovery
• Analyze performance and utilization data to identify trends, report on infrastructure performance, and implement corrective actions for continuous improvement
• Lead the design and configuration of complex platforms and systems, ensure ongoing compliance with design standards, and build and deploy highly available, scalable infrastructure solutions
• Lead the creation and maintenance of a knowledge base, mentor junior engineers, and promote cross-team collaboration and knowledge sharing

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5 or more years of relevant platforms engineer experience, * 10 or more years of experience in networking, compute, storage, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), configuration management, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and/or platform development
• Experience in Operational Technology and a solid understanding of the PERA model
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitLab, Netbrain, Netbox, Itential, Jenkins, or similar Infrastructure as Code tools for continuous integration and deployment
