Software Engineer

• Integrate Ansible with Terraform or CloudFormation for hybrid provisioning and post-provisioning configuration.
• Administer Linux systems (RHEL, Ubuntu, Debian, Alpine), focusing on package management, systemd, networking, and security hardening.
• Support Windows environments with Ansible modules, PowerShell scripting, and Active Directory integration.
• Embed Ansible workflows in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure Pipelines) for automated testing, linting, and deployments.
• Implement robust secrets management with HashiCorp Vault, Ansible Vault, or cloud KMS for secure credential handling.
• Ensure compliance and maintain audit trails by generating security reports from playbooks and enforcing organizational standards.
• Automate infrastructure monitoring by integrating Ansible outputs with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk.
• Conduct rigorous playbook and role testing using Molecule and TestInfra, ensuring reliability and policy compliance.
• Write custom automation scripts in Python or Bash as needed for module development and tool integration.

15+ years in software engineering or IT automation roles.

• Expert proficiency with Ansible, YAML, Jinja2 templating, and role structuring.
• Advanced Linux administration across major distributions.
• Hands-on experience with Git workflows and version control best practices.
• Strong background in CI/CD pipeline integration and automated deployment.
• Proven track record in secrets management and compliance reporting.
• Familiarity with core networking concepts: DNS, DHCP, VPCs, firewalls.
