Senior DevOps Automation Engineer

• Help design, build and continuously improve the clients online platform.
• Research, suggest and implement new technology solutions following best practices/standards.
• Take responsibility for the resiliency and availability of different products.
• Be a productive member of the team., * Collaborate with engineering, QA, security, and product teams to align DevOps strategies with business objectives.
• Design, optimize, and maintain secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines using YAML.
• Automate build, testing, deployment, and release management processes.
• Integrate code quality checks, security scanning, and compliance controls into pipelines.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in build and deployment processes.
• Design and maintain Terraform-based IaC frameworks, including modules, environments, and state management.
• Develop Python scripts to automate cloud operations and DevOps workflows.
• Review IaC implementations for security, scalability, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
• Automate cloud environment provisioning across Development, Test, UAT, and Production.
• Design, configure, and manage Azure services, including Virtual Machines, App Services, AKS, Storage, Networking, and Identity.
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and cloud platform performance.
• Implement cloud cost optimization strategies and monitor resource utilization.
• Develop Azure-native solutions using modern cloud architecture patterns.
• Implement DevSecOps practices by integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage secure access using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), RBAC, Managed Identities, and Azure Key Vault.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and ensure system reliability.

• 7+ years of experience in Python development, with a strong focus on infrastructure automation.
• Hands-on experience in DevOps pipeline automation using GitLab CI/CD and Azure DevOps.
• Practical experience with Docker, Shell scripting, API integrations, and Linux troubleshooting.
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing automation solutions across application and infrastructure domains.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and technical documentation skills.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow.
• Experience working in Agile teams.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI and Django.
• Design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade automation solutions and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Azure DevOps.
• Independently develop and maintain pipelines using Python, YAML, and relevant DevOps tools.
• Prepare and present High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs), providing technical recommendations and influencing architectural decisions.
• Estimate effort and timelines based on product backlog requirements.
• Collaborate closely with end users and stakeholders to support acceptance testing.
• Demonstrate strong technical expertise in application and infrastructure automation.
• Work effectively within a team, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Design and implement enterprise-grade CI/CD architectures using Azure DevOps.
• Define and enforce DevOps standards, best practices, and governance.
• Mentor junior and mid-level DevOps engineers.
