Edge Network Architect

I am recruiting for an Edge Network Architect to be based 1-2 days in Liverpool, remaining time remote.

The role falls inside IR35 so you will be required to work through an umbrella company for the duration of the contract.

You must have strong experience of Edge Infrastructure Platforms.

You will define the secure, resilient and repeatable network architecture required to connect Client Edge Hosting into factory IT and OT environments globally, enabling consistent deployment while protecting production systems and existing network controls.

You will have senior enterprise network architecture experience in large, distributed estates.

Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, routing, switching, Firewalls, segmentation and resilient connectivity.

Experience designing secure connectivity for virtualised, containerised and edge infrastructure platforms.

Strong understanding of network security architecture and operational assurance.

Ability to create reusable network standards, HLD/LLD guidance and site-readiness criteria.

Strong stakeholder engagement across architecture, security, operations and site/factory teams.
