Job description
We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Tester with strong hands-on experience in Selenium and Cypress to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, automation frameworks, API testing, and CI/CD practices., * Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Cypress.
- Create and execute UI, functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Develop and maintain reusable automation frameworks and test utilities.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and create detailed test scenarios and test cases.
- Execute automated and manual testing as required.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools.
- Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
- Integrate automation test suites with CI/CD pipelines.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to resolve defects.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed testing reports and metrics.
- Continuously improve test automation coverage, framework performance, and testing processes.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
- Strong experience with Cypress for web application automation.
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Good understanding of Page Object Model (POM) and automation framework design.
- Experience in API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database validation.
- Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket.
- Experience integrating automation frameworks with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD tools.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Cypress is a plus.
- Experience with BlazeMeter, JMeter, or other performance testing tools is a plus.
