Job description
- Design, code, test, and support embedded software systems.
- Develop software based on low-level software requirements.
- Build, test, and deliver real-time embedded software to target environments.
- Support system-level testing and troubleshooting with cross-functional teams.
- Participate in software design and code reviews.
- Document problems and support resolution activities.
- Apply object-oriented design principles to new software systems.
- Provide technical leadership and work with internal teams and customers.
Requirements
- 10+ years of embedded software development experience.
- Strong knowledge of DO-178B/DO-178C.
- Working knowledge of C, C++, and Python.
- STEM degree.
- U.S. work authorization without current or future company sponsorship.
- Experience with real-time embedded software development.

Knowledge of air/ground messaging and data-link protocols, including:
- ARINC 429
- ARINC 618
- VDL Mode 2
- TCP/IP
- ATN OSI
- Knowledge of aircrew human-machine interface design.
- Strong technical leadership and communication skills.
