Job description

We are seeking engineers to contribute to various software initiatives centered on Touch Screen and Display Head technologies. You will play a vital role in our lab-based team, focusing on the verification of requirements, the creation and running of tests, and the troubleshooting of complex systems.

Core Duties

  • Create and run comprehensive test procedures and cases.
  • Ensure software meets rigorous standards through requirements-based verification aligned with DO-178C DAL A/B.
  • Foster strong partnerships with global and cross-functional groups to ensure project success.
  • Help maintain a stable and functional embedded hardware environment by executing and debugging tests.
  • Contribute to the success of unit testing and low-level software integration efforts.
  • Engage in regular project assessments and daily team syncs., * This position is based entirely onsite in Cedar Rapids, IA.
  • Work is performed in a lab setting, focusing on the validation and testing of hardware.
  • Collaborate effectively with both local and remote engineering staff.

Requirements

  • At least five years of professional background in embedded software development.
  • Proven expertise in verification processes following DO-178C DAL A or B standards.
  • Demonstrated ability in performing unit testing and low-level system integration.
  • High level of proficiency in Embedded C++.

Desired Qualifications

  • Background in the development of DO-178C requirements.
  • A degree in a STEM field is preferred, though extensive relevant experience is also valued.
