SAP Forecast-to-Produce (FTP) Consultant Mid-Level

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a SAP Forecast-to-Produce (FTP) Consultant on behalf of our client in Dallas/Longview, TX; Tulsa, OK; or Memphis, TN. This role will support manufacturing process optimization, SAP implementation initiatives, and production planning improvements across complex discrete manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on SAP PP/QM implementation experience, strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions. This position focuses on solution design, process improvement, integration, and implementation rather than routine application support. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with production planning, manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and business stakeholders to identify requirements and improve end-to-end manufacturing processes. Support SAP Forecast-to-Produce processes, including material requirements planning (MRP), production orders, production scheduling, and shop-floor execution. Contribute to SAP PP and QM configuration, solution design, enhancements, and implementation activities. Work with bills of materials (BOMs), routings, work centers, production versions, master data, confirmations, and backflushing processes. Support quality management processes, including inspection lots, quality notifications, and usage decisions. Analyze planning and production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend sustainable solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integrations with EWM, purchasing, finance, master data, engineering, and other related systems. Evaluate proposed solutions and enhancements to ensure alignment with standard SAP functionality, business needs, and long-term maintainability. Support testing, documentation, process flows, functional specifications, training materials, and plant rollout activities.

7+ years of SAP PP, SAP QM, or manufacturing functional experience. At least 5 6 years of relevant hands-on experience, with demonstrated implementation and solution design expertise. Mandatory experience in discrete manufacturing environments. Strong understanding of SAP production planning, MRP, production orders, BOMs, routings, work centers, and manufacturing execution. Hands-on knowledge of SAP QM processes, including inspection lots, quality notifications, and usage decisions. Experience troubleshooting manufacturing and planning issues across configuration, master data, transactions, and system integrations. Ability to gather business requirements, participate in solution design, and recommend standard SAP solutions and enhancements. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical decisions and implementation contributions to business stakeholders. Willingness to travel occasionally to designated project locations. Preferred Qualifications Experience with SAP S/4HANA manufacturing. Experience with make-to-order, configure-to-order, engineer-to-order, or variant configuration. Familiarity with SAP EWM staging, MES, shop-floor mobility, Teamcenter/PLM integration, or advanced planning tools. Experience integrating manufacturing processes with procurement, finance, quality, and master data systems. SAP certification in Production Planning, Manufacturing, or S/4HANA.
