Data Analytics Engineer

Insight Global is looking for a Data Analytics Engineer for one of our customers in the Life Sciences industry. This person will act as a subject matter expert supporting commercial master data initiatives across medical device business domains. Partner closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and IT teams to define requirements, support data integrations, validate new data sources, and drive data quality improvements. Develop reporting and analytics that provide actionable insights to leadership, support governance initiatives, and enable informed decision-making. Collaborate on testing, system enhancements, and long-term data management strategies while managing multiple priorities in a highly cross-functional environment.

5+ years of experience in data management, data analytics, or a related field Strong SQL expertise and experience with data analysis, validation, and reporting Experience with cloud and database technologies (AWS, Azure Databricks, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.) Hands-on experience with ETL tools and data integration processes Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Python, or similar analytics tools Experience partnering with business and IT stakeholders on data-driven initiatives Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills Ability to work across multiple projects and lead cross-functional efforts Experience in the medical device, life sciences, healthcare, or regulated industry space Experience with master data management (MDM), data governance, or taxonomy management Knowledge of Informatica, PySpark, Redshift, PostgreSQL, and S3 Experience building executive dashboards, KPIs, and operational metrics Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills Experience supporting large-scale CRM, commercial, or enterprise data environments
