Intermediate Architect

Come join our small Brooklyn based architectural office focused on residential projects. We’re seeking an experienced, talented intermediate level architect with at 4-6 years of full time professional experience to join our team. We have multiple projects beginning immediately, and this is an opportunity to be involved with projects from beginning to end. An Intermediate Architect will lead multiple design projects, manage consultants, interface with clients, and work closely with the principals to develop and manage the projects from design conception to construction completion. Candidates should have a good understanding of construction detailing, and ability to research and specify materials. We value team work and provide strong opportunities for growth and collaboration through our work., * A professional degree in Architecture (Bachelor or Masters)

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience
• Experience with multiple phases of the design process from conception through completion
• Project coordination and management skills including the ability to work on their own in all aspects of the project
• Experience with construction administration, technical detailing, specifying and purchasing
• Ability to take initiative while also receiving instruction
• Great team player who is comfortable working in a small office
• Comfortable with multitasking and chipping in where needed
• Strong rendering and visual presentation skills
• Residential experience preferred, but not required

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

• Vectorworks - experience with this program is a plus
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• 3D modeling in Sketch up or other programs
