Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst

We are looking for a Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to support end users in Okemos, Michigan within the real estate and property sector. This Long-term Contract position focuses on resolving day-to-day technical issues, maintaining stable desktop operations, and delivering responsive assistance across Microsoft-based environments. The ideal candidate is comfortable handling service requests, troubleshooting workstation problems, and supporting users with professionalism and efficiency., Provide first-line technical assistance for desktop, laptop, and Windows-related issues reported by internal users. Diagnose and resolve common hardware, software, and access problems to minimize business disruption. Manage incoming service desk tickets, document troubleshooting steps, and ensure timely follow-up through resolution. Support user account needs within Active Directory, including access-related requests and routine updates. Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft Windows 10 systems to meet operational requirements. Escalate more complex incidents when necessary while keeping users informed on progress and next steps.

Experience providing help desk or desktop support in a detail-oriented business environment. Working knowledge of Active Directory for basic user administration and access support. Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Windows and Windows 10 operating systems. Ability to perform foundational troubleshooting for hardware, software, and user-reported issues. Familiarity with service desk ticketing processes and documenting issue resolution clearly.
