Field Installation Technician

The Installation Technician supports the construction and opening of new commercial retail locations by installing low-voltage systems, equipment, and fixtures while assisting with a variety of construction-related tasks. This role requires experience using hand and power tools, a strong mechanical aptitude, and the flexibility to assist wherever needed, including electrical, carpentry, plumbing, material handling, and site support activities., * Install and connect low-voltage wiring and equipment for POS systems, kitchen equipment, lighting, signage, and other operational systems.

• Assist with general commercial construction activities, including light carpentry, fixture installation, and basic plumbing tasks.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and installation plans to ensure accurate installations.
• Safely operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Support crews with material handling, equipment setup, and job site organization.
• Assist with final equipment installations, punch-list items, and project closeout activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including site cleanup and debris removal.
• Travel to project locations and work collaboratively with team members to meet project schedules.

• Experience working with low-voltage wiring and device installation.
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new systems and installation techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings preferred.
• Experience with material handling, site preparation, and general construction labor.
• Willingness to assist with a wide range of tasks outside of primary responsibilities.
• Ability to travel as required, including occasional overnight stays., * Experience installing POS systems, network cabling, security devices, lighting controls, or other low-voltage systems.
• Commercial construction experience in retail, restaurant, or fuel/convenience store environments.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, carpentry, and plumbing practices.
