Job description
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-grade Java applications.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to development teams.
- Design and develop scalable, high-performing microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, business analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver robust solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, security practices, and software development best practices.
- Drive application performance tuning, troubleshooting, and production support activities.
- Participate in architecture reviews, technical discussions, and strategic decision-making.
- Manage sprint commitments and actively contribute to Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
- Support end-to-end software delivery, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Requirements
- 15+ years of overall experience in software development with strong expertise in Java 8/11/17 and Core Java.
- Deep hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, and related frameworks.
- Strong experience designing and implementing Microservices Architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases, including Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Experience with messaging and streaming platforms such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Strong cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, container orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Expertise with development tools including Git, Maven, Jenkins, SonarQube, and version control systems.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Design Patterns, System Design, and Application Architecture.
- Experience in application modernization and cloud-native development.
<>Preferred Skills
- Experience with Event-Driven Architecture and distributed systems.
- Exposure to Terraform, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Knowledge of security frameworks and standards including OAuth2, JWT, Spring Security, and API security.
- Proven experience leading and managing teams of 5-10+ developers.
- Experience working with large-scale enterprise applications in highly regulated environments.
- Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
