Data Center Cable Technician

Technicians must be available to work rotating schedules, including day and night shifts, as project demands require. Overtime opportunities will be available throughout the duration of the project., * Install, route, dress, and secure Cat5e, Cat6, and other low-voltage cabling systems

• Perform rack and stack installations of network and server equipment
• Build and support structured cabling infrastructure within a data center environment
• Install cable pathways, supports, and associated hardware
• Terminate and test copper cabling systems
• Label, document, and maintain cable installations according to project standards
• Follow all site safety procedures and customer requirements
• Maintain professional work habits in a highly secure data center environment

We are seeking experienced Data Center Cabling Technicians to support a large-scale data center construction project in Brownsville, TX. This role is ideal for technicians with a background in structured cabling, rack and stack installations, and low-voltage infrastructure who are comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment., * Experience with structured cabling and low-voltage installations

• Experience working in data centers, commercial construction, or technology infrastructure environments
• Familiarity with rack and stack installations
• Ability to read basic drawings, layouts, and installation documentation
• Ability to use standard hand tools and installation equipment
• Must provide basic hand tools and required PPE
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Must be comfortable working in a secured environment where personal mobile devices are not permitted on the job site

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA 10 certification
• Scissor Lift certification
• Previous data center project experience
