Software Engineer

We’re working with a growing technology consultancy in Madrid that is expanding its engineering team due to increasing demand from clients across a range of industries.

This is a client-facing Software Engineering role where you’ll work on different projects, technologies and business problems rather than being tied to a single product or stack.

You’ll work closely with both client and internal teams to understand problems, design solutions and build production software from the ground up.

What you’ll do

• Design, build and deliver production software
• Work across APIs, backend services and application architecture
• Collaborate directly with clients and technical stakeholders
• Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions
• Work across different technologies, languages and frameworks
• Take ownership throughout the full software development lifecycle
• Help clients improve existing systems and approaches

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for engineers with 4+ years of commercial experience and strong software engineering fundamentals.

Professional level English communication

Experience with one or more of the following would be valuable:

• Python
• Java
• C# / .NET
• Go
• Rust
• React

You don’t need to know everything on the list. We’re more interested in strong engineering ability, problem-solving skills and a willingness to adapt.

Consultancy or client-facing experience is a plus, but not essential. You’ll need to be comfortable communicating with clients and working across different technical environments.
