As part of our IT engineering team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our infrastructure. We are looking for someone who enjoys being hands-on while also thinking strategically about system integration. Holding a UKNSV security clearance of SC is essential, with DV being desirable. • Experienced as an infrastructure engineer
• Strong knowledge of Linux OS, Windows Server OS, and virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Good understanding of networking, routing, and switching fundamentals (Cisco)
• Analytical mindset with a strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to explain complex IT concepts
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and within a team
• Desirable:
• Certifications (CCNA, RHCA, MCSE, VCP-DCV)
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform)
• Practical scripting or automation skills (Powershell, Python, Bash)
• Familiarity with containerisation tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Podman)
• Experience administering enterprise systems (Atlassian, GitHub, M365)
• Understanding of Information Security and Compliance (ISO27001, Cyber Essentials)
