Data Engineer

This is a unique opportunity to become the first dedicated Data Engineer within a growing data function. You’ll play a key role in shaping the company’s data engineering capabilities, building modern data solutions and influencing the future direction of the platform whilst working across a variety of analytics, data science and AI projects., * Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes

• Integrate data from multiple internal and external sources, including APIs and third-party platforms
• Build and optimise data models to support analytics, reporting and customer insight initiatives
• Develop data solutions within modern cloud environments and data platforms
• Support the development and evolution of Microsoft Fabric capabilities across the business
• Collaborate closely with Data Science, Analytics and business stakeholders

• 2+ years’ experience in Data Engineering or a closely related field
• Strong Python development skills
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines
• Experience with Azure, AWS or GCP
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Up to £50,000 base salary
