CORE RESPONSIBILITIESComplex network troubleshooting: OSPF/BGP adjacency issues, VLAN misconfigurations, spanning tree problemsMulti-vendor hardware support across diverse environmentsCircuit turn-ups and acceptance testing (dark fiber, wavelength, Ethernet)Optical testing using OTDR, power meters, and fiber inspection scopesSystem commissioning and burn-in proceduresTechnical leadership for deployment projects (crew supervision)Root cause analysis documentation for hardware and connectivity failuresCoordination with carriers, ISPs, and third-party vendorsEmergency response and P1/P2 incident onsite leadershipDevelopment and refinement of site-specific runbooks and MOPsSKILLS AND ABILITIESServer and storage installationRack-and-stack deploymentsHardware diagnostics and repairNetwork connectivity troubleshootingStructured cabling standardsTeam supervision and mentoringAnalytical problem-solvingTime managementCommunicationAccountabilityPREFERED QUALIFICATIONSCompTIA A+, Network+, Server+, or Security+ certification.BICSI Installer or Technician certification.Experience with Cisco, Dell, HPE, Lenovo, or similar enterprise hardware.Knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V, or cloud infrastructure.Familiarity with DCIM platforms and asset management systems. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS5-8 years of data center or network operations experienceCCNA/CCNP, JNCIA/JNCIS, or equivalent networking certificationsAdvanced fiber optic certification (CFOT/CFOS)Demonstrated OTDR proficiency and fiber characterization experienceExperience leading teams in high-pressure, time-sensitive environmentsStrong documentation and communication skills

PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS

• CompTIA A+, Network+, Server+, or Security+ certification.
• BICSI Installer or Technician certification.
• Experience with Cisco, Dell, HPE, Lenovo, or similar enterprise hardware.
• Knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V, or cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with DCIM platforms and asset management systems., * 5-8 years of data center or network operations experience
• CCNA/CCNP, JNCIA/JNCIS, or equivalent networking certifications
• Advanced fiber optic certification (CFOT/CFOS)
• Demonstrated OTDR proficiency and fiber characterization experience
• Experience leading teams in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments
• Strong documentation and communication skills
