QA Automation Tester

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript
• Create and execute automated test scripts for UI, API, and end-to-end testing
• Develop reusable utilities, libraries, and automation components
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or Playwright API capabilities
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI
• Analyze test execution results, debug failures, and report defects effectively
• Collaborate with development and business teams during sprint planning and release cycles
• Ensure test coverage, test data management, and automation best practices
• Participate in code reviews and framework enhancement activities
• Work with Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to continuous quality improvement
• Support regression, smoke, sanity, and cross-browser testing activities
• Generate automation reports and dashboards for stakeholders
• Implement AI-powered automation solutions for intelligent test execution and reporting
• Build or integrate Agentic AI workflows for:
• Automated test case generation
• Self-healing locators
• Root cause analysis
• Intelligent failure clustering
• Test data generation
• Requirement-to-test traceability
• Leverage AI tools to improve QA productivity, automation coverage, and release quality
• Collaborate with teams to integrate AI testing capabilities into existing frameworks and pipelines

Mandatory Skills

1. 8 10 years of experience in Software Testing and QA Automation
2. Strong hands-on experience with:

• Playwright
• JavaScript
• TypeScript

1. Expertise in:

• UI Automation Testing
• API Testing
• End-to-End Testing

1. Experience with:

• REST APIs
• JSON/XML payload validation
• API authentication methods
• Strong understanding of:
• CI/CD pipelines
• Git version control
• Jenkins/GitLab CI/Azure DevOps
• Experience with BDD frameworks like:
• Cucumber
• Gherkin

1. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
2. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Preferred Skills
