QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in Playwright to design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks for web applications. The ideal candidate should have expertise in test automation, API testing, CI/CD integration, and modern software testing methodologies., * Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright.

• Build and maintain reusable automation frameworks for web applications.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA team members to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Automate API testing using tools such as Playwright, Postman, or REST Assured.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
• Create and maintain test documentation, test cases, and automation reports.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives.
• Ensure software quality standards and best practices are followed.

• 8+ years of experience in QA Automation Testing.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright using TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience in UI automation testing for web applications.
• Knowledge of API testing and validation.
• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Experience working with defect tracking tools such as Jira.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Playwright Test Runner.
• Knowledge of Docker and containerized testing environments.
• Performance testing exposure using JMeter or similar tools.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP). xrbllit
• Understanding of database testing and SQL queries.
