Full-Stack Engineer (Java / Angular)

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer (Java / Angular) on behalf of our client in Newton, MA. This role is ideal for a hands-on software engineer with strong experience in Java backend development and Angular frontend development. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining modern web applications while collaborating closely with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions. Key Responsibilities Backend Development Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and related technologies. Build and enhance RESTful APIs, application services, and system integrations. Develop business logic, data access layers, and reusable backend components. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues while improving performance, reliability, and code quality. Follow software development best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines. Frontend Development Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using Angular and TypeScript. Create reusable UI components and integrate them with backend services and APIs. Ensure applications are accessible, maintainable, and optimized for performance. Diagnose and resolve frontend issues and implement improvements. Collaborate with backend developers and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Proven experience in full-stack software development. Strong programming experience with Java. Hands-on experience with Angular and TypeScript. Experience designing, developing, and consuming REST APIs. Strong understanding of SQL and relational database concepts. Knowledge of object-oriented programming, software design principles, and debugging techniques. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with application integrations and distributed systems. Exposure to data engineering, data integration, or ETL workflows. Familiarity with modern software development methodologies and best practices. Experience optimizing application performance and scalability.
