Network Engineer Cum Linux Admin, LAN/WAN Design, OSPF, CISCO, Python 12+ Mths Cont, NYC, NY, Role: Sr Network Design Engineer Cum Linux Admin, (LAN/WAN Design, Routing, Switching,OSPF, CISCO, LINUX Administration, Python 12+ Mths Cont, NYC, NY, Sr Network Engineer (LAN/WAN), Network Design, Routing, Switching, CISCO, LINUX Administration, Python 12+ Mths Cont, NYC, NY
This is a hybrid between NETWORKING and PROGRAMMING Linux skills. Tilting more on the linux side, rather than core networking side β currently large gap on the team. This person will be doing staging ,etc. Must understand operating systems and ideally code. Also, understand the compute side
Design Engineer: If you know how to configure a platform, validate a solution how to test in this environment
Requirements
- 8+ Years of Strong Network Engineer experience; specifically LAN/WAN network design, engineering, testing and certification/validation
- Strong hands on routing & switching background OSPF and Layer 2 protocols/Spanning Tree.
- Strong experience with Cisco networking platforms, including Catalyst and Nexus; experience with IOS/NE/NCOS and code/features (okay to find someone who is less exp in CORE networking)
- Strong Linux foundation - administration, networking and automation
- Strong hands-on python automation experience
