Application Engineer

We’re seeking an Applications Engineer to help develop custom automation and machine design solutions for a growing manufacturing organization. This role combines engineering, problem-solving, cost estimation, and customer interaction, supporting projects from initial concept through design and build. Key Responsibilities

• Partner with sales to develop technical solutions based on customer requirements and specifications.
• Review engineering drawings, technical documents, and project scopes.
• Evaluate concepts for technical feasibility, cost, and potential risks.
• Analyze manual, automated, and robotic manufacturing processes.
• Support project estimating, component sourcing, and vendor quoting.
• Participate in customer meetings, presentations, and technical reviews.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations throughout the design and build process.
• Maintain project documentation, cost databases, and CRM records.

• Associate degree in an engineering-related field required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Knowledge of machine design and assembly automation.
• Familiarity with robotics and automated manufacturing processes.
• Experience with 2D/3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
