Job description

• Ensure the stability, performance, and availability of business-critical applications
• Lead application support, configuration, and ongoing optimisation initiatives
• Manage incidents, changes, and problem resolution in line with ITIL best practices
• Work closely with internal teams and third-party providers to drive system improvements
• Support data integrity, governance, and reporting requirements across the business
• Manage and support integrations between applications, databases, and external systems
• Act as the technical owner for assigned business-critical applications, We are a growing, innovative manufacturing business based in Witney, Oxfordshire, seeking an IT Applications Manager to support and evolve our business-critical systems. This role combines technical expertise, continuous improvement, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring that applications support business processes and that changes are delivered safely, securely, and in line with ITIL best practice. Requirements

• Strong experience supporting and configuring enterprise or business-critical applications
• Understanding of application architecture, databases, APIs, and integrations
• Knowledge of ITIL processes, especially change, incident, and problem management
• Familiarity with SQL, reporting tools, and data analysis techniques (desirable)
• Understanding of data governance principles and best practices
