Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - PagerDuty

Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer with strong hands-on experience in PagerDuty and incident management automation. The role focuses on migrating from Moogsoft to PagerDuty, integrating monitoring platforms, optimizing alert management, and ensuring uninterrupted production monitoring. Key Responsibilities Lead the migration from Moogsoft AIOps to PagerDuty as the primary incident management and alerting platform. Integrate monitoring tools such as Datadog, New Relic, Splunk, and AWS CloudWatch with PagerDuty. Configure PagerDuty Event Orchestration, event routing, deduplication, and alert suppression to reduce alert fatigue. Implement automated incident response workflows, on-call schedules, and escalation policies. Integrate Slack and Microsoft Teams for bidirectional ChatOps and incident collaboration. Develop runbooks and operational documentation for the new incident management platform. Train engineering teams on PagerDuty best practices and incident

response workflows. Execute migration and validation activities to ensure a seamless transition without disruption to production monitoring. Develop custom integrations and automate workflows using PagerDuty APIs. Required Skills and Qualifications Strong hands-on experience with PagerDuty architecture, event routing, orchestration, and advanced configurations. Familiarity with Moogsoft, including event clustering, Situation Room, and ingestion logic. Good understanding of observability platforms and incident management integrations. Experience with Datadog, New Relic, Splunk, and AWS CloudWatch. Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go for API integrations and automation. Experience designing incident response workflows, escalation policies, and on-call processes. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience managing PagerDuty configurations using Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. Experience leading incident management platform migrations in live production environments.
