Software Engineer - Java & Pega Integration

The Software Engineer will support the integration and sustainment of Java Spring Boot applications with a Pega-based status tracking system, ensuring seamless functionality while maintaining the reliability of existing applications., * Maintain the API gateway integration between a Java Spring Boot application and a Pega-based status tracker.

• Troubleshoot and resolve defects across Java and Pega integration boundaries.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve application defects to ensure continued system functionality.
• Apply software patches and updates in accordance with the customer’s established release calendar.
• Maintain accurate and current operational runbooks to support application sustainment.

• 4+ years of experience developing and supporting Java applications using Spring Boot and REST integrations.
• Hands-on experience integrating with or developing applications on the Pega platform.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Amazon ECS/Fargate.
• Experience working within AWS GovCloud environments.
• Active Secret security clearance.

• Location: Hybrid. Reston, VA headquarters and approved remote locations within the United States, with on-site work at Government facilities in Northern Virginia and Maryland as required. Government-furnished equipment is used for all access to Government environments.
• Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with core hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Eastern. The team operates in two-week sprints, with a customer demonstration each sprint.
• Travel: 0-10%, within the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
• Security Requirement: U.S. citizenship required. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance. An active Secret clearance or higher is strongly preferred and may allow an earlier start.
• Compensation: $130,000-$150,000 annually, depending on experience.
