GCP Cloud Network Engineer

Day-To-Day: * Design, implement, and support secure, scalable GCP network architectures. * Lead hybrid and multi-cloud networking initiatives across GCP, AWS, and Azure. * Configure and troubleshoot Cloud Interconnect, BGP, Cloud VPN, and hybrid connectivity. * Optimize network performance, availability, and cost. * Implement network security controls and ensure compliance with enterprise standards. * Automate network deployments and operational tasks using Infrastructure as Code and scripting. * Collaborate with cloud, security, and application teams to support enterprise workloads. * Build and maintain Hybrid connectivity (VPN, Direct Connect, Interconnect, FastConnect) and internal and external routing. Strong understanding of hybrid cloud networking and connectivity between on-premises data centers and GCP. * Secure network segmentation networking connectivity within AWS, MAG, GCP, OCI and Equinix Datacenters for Agency users and customers.

Must Haves: * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or comparable experience. * 8+ years of enterprise networking experience with at least 3+ years focused on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). * Strong Cloud architecture, Datacenter routing, switches, and security background * Advanced networking certifications such as CCNP and AWS certification is preferred * Experience designing and troubleshooting networking infrastructure * Experience supporting Private and Public cloud Networking Services * Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation with other Engineer’s for afterhours support * Assumes on-call responsibilities as needed to ensure SLAs are met * Performs other duties as assigned
