Job description

The project involves HMI application development using QT/QML & application development using C++ language with below activities:

  • Analyze requirements and develop HMI Application in C++ for Cluster domain.
  • Implement HMI in QT & develop applications in C++.
  • Perform bug fixing, enhancements & new feature implementation for already developed software.
  • Implement unit and integration tests for developed HMI Application.
  • Responsible for development and fixing for Static and Dynamic code violations.
  • Work in Agile based scrum team, co-ordinate with other teamsEnsure traceability, consistency of requirements and feature maturity., * Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain software design documents, specifications, and test plans.
  • Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Collaborate with external suppliers and partners to integrate software components into the overall system.
  • Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in automotive software development and Cockpit HMI Application Designs.
  • Responsible for leading a team of HMI Developers for Vehicle HMI domains like Digital Cockpit, Cluster, HUD, In-Vehicle Infotainment etc.
  • Guide development team for any roadblocks/support needed and triage defects.
  • Responsible for managing multiple projects and communicating and collaborate with key stakeholders.Participate in competency development activities and assessments by mentoring, conducting interviews and facilitating training., * Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain software design documents, specifications, and test plans

Requirements

Do you have experience in Unreal Engine?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Experienced & forward-thinking HMI Architect with automotive background who is passionate about next generation HMI solutions & using QT/QML Engine based Linux Application.

  • Strong leadership, planning and organization skills.
  • Mentoring skills to assist junior team members.
  • Understanding of IVI, Cluster / Digital Cockpit domain and its requirements
  • Main customer interface for all software related activities including customer design reviews, clarify and negotiate customer requirements.
  • The person should be capable of understanding system requirements, derive software requirements and develop HMI Code.
  • Good analytical, problem solving and logical thinking skills.
  • Design and develop software architecture for Android Applications using Unreal Engine in the automotive domain., * Minimum is bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • C1/C2 Level German, C1/C2 Level English
  • 10-12 Years of experience in Automotive Domain
  • Minimum 8+ Years of HMI Application Development in Automotive domain
  • Minimum 4+ years of development experience for Cluster HMI Applications
  • Hands-on experience in one of the HMI Modelling tools
  • Hands-on experience in C++ for HMI Application development
  • Hands on experience on Unit/Integration test tools like GTest, CANTATA etc.
  • Understanding of Cluster domain and its requirements
  • Main customer interface for all software related activities including customer design reviews, clarifying and negotiate customer requirements as application specific software expert HMI systems.
  • The person should be capable of understanding system requirements, derive software requirements and develop HMI Code.
  • Good analytical, problem solving and logical thinking skills
  • Design and develop software architecture for instrument cluster systems & HMI Application in the automotive domain
