Job description

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop technical solutions
  • Develop and maintain software design documents, specifications, and test plans
  • Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
  • Collaborate with external suppliers and partners to integrate software components into the overall system
  • Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in automotive software development and Cockpit HMI Application Designs
  • Responsible for leading a team of HMI Developers for Vehicle HMI domains like Digital Cockpit, Cluster, HUD, In-Vehicle Infotainment etc.
  • Guide development team for any roadblocks/support needed and triage defects
  • Responsible to manage multiple projects and communicate and collaborate with key stakeholdersParticipate in competency development activities and assessments by mentoring, conducting interviews and facilitating training

Requirements

Do you have experience in Unreal Engine?, * Experienced & forward-thinking HMI Architect with automotive background who is passionate about next generation HMI solutions & using Unreal Engine based Linux or Android Application

  • Strong leadership, planning and organization skills
  • Mentoring skills to assist junior team members
  • Understanding of IVI, Cluster / Digital Cockpit domain and its requirements
  • Main customer interface for all software related activities including customer design reviews, clarify and negotiate customer requirements
  • The person should be capable of understanding system requirements, derive software requirements and develop HMI Code
  • Good analytical, problem solving and logical thinking skills, * C1/C2 Level German, C1/C2 Level English
  • 10+ Years of experience in Automotive Domain
  • Minimum 10+ Years of HMI Application Development in Automotive domain
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience using Unreal Engine
  • Minimum 2 production program experiences in Automotive domain for HMI Application Development
  • Hands-on experience in one of the HMI Modelling tools like Unreal Engine (Must) / Unity / Kanzi
  • Hands-on experience in Kotlin/Java language for Android App Development
  • Good hands on exp C++ (11, 14), UML, Java/Kotlin (Must), design concepts, design modelling tools, design patterns and SOLID design principles
  • Solid working experience with the software life-cycle methodologies. Collaborate within an agile cross-functional team environment.Understanding of Agile methodologies and processes
