Operating Systems Maintenance (OSM) Product Owner

Aviation & Missile Solutions, LLC. (AMS) is seeking a talented Operating System Specialist to join our diverse team, in Huntsville, AL., to create unique solutions for complex problems. AMS provides responsive, cost-effective engineering and scientific solutions ranging from air and missile defense technologies, command and control, radar systems, seekers, modeling & simulation, and prototype hardware development and testing. The successful candidate will support the PAE Fires Mission Command Product Office within the Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office. The candidate will fill the role of Operating Systems Maintenance (OSM) Product Owner (PO). The PO will be responsible for leading the team through Program Increment and Sprint planning, reporting status, recommending courses of actions, resolving competing priorities and verifying teams work.Your day-to-day work will include:Working as a member of the Operating Systems Maintenance Development teamUnderstanding status of the team on a day-to-day basisWorking with the team to develop sufficient acceptance criteria for all work the team has planned for the sprintVerifying acceptance criteria once work is completeVerification of Definition of Done for teams workPerforming backlog groomingReviewing systems engineering documents for future capabilities impacting teamRaising blockers/issues to Program managementWorking with team to troubleshoot issues found during testing/fieldingOther duties as assignedKeyword: Operating Systems Maintenance (OSM) Product OwnerRequired Experience:At a minimum you should have:An Active Secret clearanceBachelors Degree in a STEM fieldExperience with the followingDeployment of Operating systems including Windows and RHELUpdating/Patching Operating systemsSecurity Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) implementationACAS scanning/risk assessmentInformation Assurance Vulnerability Alert/Management (IAVA/IAVM) processesA minimum of 7 years of experience in the above areasEffective Communication skills, both written and verbalDemonstrated experience working in a collaborative team environmentYou will be highly desired if you have:Previous experience in the above in an Army Air and Missile Defense Command and Control system environmentExperience in Jira and ConfluenceSecurity +Agilist CertificationAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.From: Aviation & Missile Solutions

• An Active Secret clearance
• Bachelors Degree in a STEM field
• Experience with the following
• Deployment of Operating systems including Windows and RHEL
• Updating/Patching Operating systems
• Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) implementation
• ACAS scanning/risk assessment
• Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert/Management (IAVA/IAVM) processes
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in the above areas

• Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal

• Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative team environment

You will be highly desired if you have:

• Previous experience in the above in an Army Air and Missile Defense Command and Control system environment
• Experience in Jira and Confluence
• Security +
