Software Engineer/Developer, Staff

Experience coding with C++ or Python

• Experience developing with Windows and Linux

• Experience with troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining and improving existing software code

• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance
• Understands JSE product dependencies and their relationships
• Performs hotfix software changes and builds required to fix critical issues
• Conducts merges of software work to baseline development trucks using Git and Gitlab
• Develops, tests, and debugs behavior scripts for JSE integration and products, * Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering: Degrees in Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, Aerospace, Computer, Software Systems, Electrical or Electronic OR 4 years of work experience related to the labor category functional description may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance
• AT least 2-3+ Years of Experience

Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is looking for a Systems Software Developer and Integrator (JSE) Junior to work among a team to integrate new versions of Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) software products and data. Once integrated, you will then conduct integration testing on the newly integrated version and provide test results that will decide if the baselie of JSE software is ready to move to the next level of testing. JSE is a world class simulation experience for the warfighter and you will support the platform integration team responsible to integrate new versions os JSE software.
