Applications Analyst - Oracle Fusion HCM Finance Reporting (Contract-to-Hire)

Protouch Staffing is seeking an experienced Applications Analyst - Oracle Fusion Finance Reporting for an exciting contract-to-hire opportunity supporting a large-scale Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically skilled professional who understands financial reporting requirements and knows how to transform complex financial data into accurate, meaningful reports, dashboards, and analytics. What You’ll Do

• Develop Financial Reports: Design, build, test, and deploy financial statements, management reports, transactional reports, dashboards, and analytics using Oracle Fusion reporting technologies.
• Leverage Oracle Reporting Tools: Create and maintain reports using Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI), Financial Reporting, Financial Consolidation and Close (FCC), BI Publisher, and OTBI.
• Partner with Finance Teams: Collaborate with Finance stakeholders to understand business needs and translate requirements into effective reporting solutions.
• Build Dashboards and Analytics: Develop dashboards, KPIs, visualizations, and analyses that provide meaningful insights into financial performance and operations.
• Ensure Data Accuracy: Validate financial reports against Oracle Fusion ERP and authoritative data sources, investigate discrepancies, and reconcile reporting results.
• Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Identify and resolve reporting challenges involving data structures, financial hierarchies, calculations, security, mappings, and configurations.
• Support Testing and Deployment: Participate in system integration testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing, and report migration activities.
• Document Reporting Solutions: Maintain clear documentation of report designs, data sources, calculations, filters, prompts, and technical requirements.
• Optimize Reporting Processes: Evaluate existing reports and standard Oracle reporting capabilities to identify opportunities for greater efficiency and reduced duplication., * Contract-to-Hire Potential: An opportunity to transition into a longer-term role based on business needs and performance.

• At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in applications analysis, financial systems reporting, or a related technical role.
• Hands-on experience developing financial reports within Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.
• Knowledge of Financial Consolidation and Close (FCC).
• Experience with Oracle BI Publisher and OTBI.
• Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI).
• Understanding of Oracle Fusion Financials data structures and reporting concepts.
• Experience developing financial statements, management reports, transactional reports, dashboards, and analytics.
• Strong SQL and data-analysis skills for troubleshooting, data validation, and financial reconciliation.
• Understanding of financial concepts such as General Ledger, Chart of Accounts, accounting periods, journals, balances, hierarchies, and subledger accounting.
• Ability to manage reporting requirements from initial design through development, testing, reconciliation, and deployment.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical teams and Finance business users.
