Job description

We are seeking a SQL Analyst to support a Department of Justice program in Washington, DC. This is a newly created position supporting application modernization efforts. The analyst will work closely with government stakeholders to assess existing applications, gather requirements, and help drive future-state technology solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree
5+ years of Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or related IT experience
Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Experience gathering and documenting technical requirements
Ability to analyze business needs and recommend technical solutions
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience working across technical and non-technical teams
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar certification
Experience with software testing and implementation
SQL experience, including backend database testing and analysis
Experience with data visualization/reporting tools (Data Studio preferred)
Strong Microsoft Office skills
