NOC Technician

Description We are looking for an experienced NOC Technician to join our team in Somerset, New Jersey. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring the seamless operation of network systems and technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain network operations to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to network systems and applications.

• Utilize Norton Utilities to manage and optimize Windows-based systems.

• Support Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) configurations and resolve connectivity challenges.

• Implement and maintain Wireless Personal Area Networks (WPAN) to meet operational requirements.

• Manage and oversee cable assemblies, ensuring proper installation and functionality.

• Collaborate with team members to identify and address potential system vulnerabilities.

• Provide detailed reports on network performance and incident resolutions.

• Assist in the development and deployment of new technologies to enhance system efficiency. Requirements * Proven experience in network operations and support.

• Proficiency with Norton Utilities for Windows systems.

• Familiarity with Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) and associated technologies.

• Knowledge of Wireless Personal Area Networks (WPAN) and their configurations.

• Experience working with cable assemblies and related hardware.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
