Job description

- Establish the secure engineering function and guide security practices across the engineering team.
- Build and ship customer-facing security features for teams running applications on cloud infrastructure.
- Write production Go code to strengthen cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters across customer environments.
- Own cloud and container security across IAM, network security, secret management, workload isolation, and security logging.
- Work directly with customer security engineers to understand requirements and help ensure infrastructure meets their security standards.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in infrastructure or platform engineering, including experience building infrastructure at a venture-backed infrastructure startup.
- Production software engineering experience, with proficiency in Go and experience writing software to manage infrastructure.
- Hands-on security experience across Kubernetes and multiple major cloud platforms, including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Depth in areas such as IAM, security logging, secrets, network security, Helm, Terraform, or CI/CD.
- Application security experience, including authentication and authorization, vulnerability research, and secure development practices.
- Experience contributing to core infrastructure at a cloud platform company or in a high-engineering-bar environment.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent technical degree.
