Workday Consultant

Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Workday Consultant to serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for a client in Fremont. This is a 6-month contract with potential to extend. The role is 100% onsite. This contract role requires deep hands-on expertise in Workday configuration, security administration, and business process design and optimization.The ideal candidate has experience supporting organizations that have successfully implemented, scaled, and maintained Workday environments. We welcome professionals with backgrounds in enterprise HRIS teams, former Workday consultants, independent Workday experts, and recently retired or transitioned Workday professionals.In this role, you will provide both technical guidance and strategic recommendations while helping our team strengthen its internal Workday capabilities.Contract DetailsDuration: 6 monthsSchedule: Part-time or full-time (up to 40 hours per week)Location: 100% onsite in Fremont, CAKey ResponsibilitiesProvide expert support for Workday system configuration and administrationDesign, configure, and optimize Workday business processesConfigure and maintain Workday security roles, domains, and permissionsRecommend Workday best practices and scalable system solutionsTroubleshoot complex system issues and identify root-cause resolutionsPartner with stakeholders to design effective and sustainable Workday solutionsDevelop documentation, processes, and knowledge resourcesMentor team members and facilitate knowledge transfer to build internal expertisePreferred Workday ExpertiseStrong experience with:Workday Business Process ConfigurationWorkday Security Configuration and AdministrationWorkday System Configuration
