Job description
Are you interested in the people perspective of corporate transactions and business transformation? Do you enjoy combining analysis with practical advice in a fast-moving, multidisciplinary environment? As a Senior Associate in our People in Deals & Transformation team, you will help clients navigate complex workforce questions from strategy through implementation, while taking ownership of your work and continuing to grow alongside experienced colleagues.
What you are going to do
Employees are critical to the success of transactions and transformations. At the same time, people-related topics can be among the most complex factors to understand and manage, particularly when organisations are undergoing change at the same time. We support clients across the full journey, from due diligence and feasibility studies to integrations, separations, reorganisations and broader transformations.
As a Senior Associate, you will work with Dutch and international colleagues on a wide range of People in Deals & Transformation engagements. You will contribute to analyses, develop clear insights and recommendations, prepare client deliverables and support implementation. We expect you will be comfortable working independently on defined areas, proactively coordinating with colleagues and taking responsibility for the quality and timely delivery of your work.
AI is increasingly embedded in how the PwC People in Deals team works and is becoming a more prominent topic in our client conversations. As a Senior Associate, you will be encouraged to apply AI and other digital tools thoughtfully in your work, identify opportunities to improve the quality and efficiency of our analyses and deliverables, and contribute to discussions with clients about the implications of AI for their workforce and HR function.
You will collaborate with specialists in areas such as employment law, pensions, reward, HR technology, people analytics, organisational design, change and communication. You will also work closely with colleagues from Operations, Finance, Legal and Tax, giving you the opportunity to build a broad perspective on the people implications of complex business decisions.
Requirements
You are curious about the people challenges organisations face during mergers, acquisitions, separations, restructurings and transformations. You combine analytical thinking with a practical mindset and communicate complex topics clearly. You enjoy working in a team, while also being confident in progressing your own work with an appropriate degree of independence. You are proactive, adaptable and motivated by a steep learning curve.
-
Approximately 2-4 years’ relevant experience in HR, deals, transformation, consulting or a related field;
-
A relevant academic degree, for example in HR, Business Administration, Economics, Econometrics, Finance or a related discipline;
-
Experience contributing to complex, multidisciplinary projects;
-
Strong analytical skills and an interest in working with data and digital tools;
-
The ability to structure your work, identify priorities and deliver high-quality output with limited day-to-day guidance;
-
Clear communication skills and the confidence to engage with colleagues and clients;
-
A collaborative, proactive and results-oriented approach
Benefits & conditions
- Flexibility to work at different locations in the Netherlands and, where relevant, internationally.
