Computer Technician

• Perform computer diagnostics, repairs, upgrades, setups, data recovery, and related services
• Complete tickets remotely and in-store
• Travel to customer locations for on-site service during and after business hours
• Order correct parts and accept deliveries
• Document all work performed and communicate clearly with dispatch

• CompTIA A+ certified
• At least 3 years of hands-on computer repair experience
• Windows and macOS proficiency (Linux a plus)
• Experience with malware removal and system cleanup
• Accurate diagnostic skills and knowledge of common failure points
• Networking skills including routers, switches, Wi-Fi, cabling, and related equipment
• Experience with printer setup and repair
• Ability to explain technical issues in clear, customer-friendly language
• Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to lift and move equipment

Required Equipment

• Diagnostic and repair tools
• Fully functional modern laptop
• Fully functional modern smartphone with active data service

Professional Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and an insured, reliable and presentable vehicle
• Professional appearance and customer-friendly attitude
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to respond to tickets during and after business hours
• Must pass criminal background and driving-record checks, * hands on computer repair: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• CompTIA A+ (Required)

Compensation (Experienced technicians can complete at least 1 ticket per hour)

• In-store service: $30 / ticket
• Remote service: $30 / ticket
• On-site service: $50 / ticket (Some on-site tickets are hourly and pay more)
• After-hours service: Double rate (Some after-hours tickets are hourly and pay more)
