Senior Full Stack Platform Engineer in New York

This is an opportunity to serve as a technical anchor on a new platform, with significant ownership over engineering execution and architecture.

• Deep TypeScript expertise across Node.js, Fastify, React, AWS CDK, and strict monorepo environments. Deep expertise-not simply senior-level familiarity-is essential. \n

• Experience building or working deeply with interpreters, compilers, expression evaluators, or rules engines, with a strong understanding of deterministic execution, traceability, and reproducible replay. \n

• Experience designing long-running, failure-resilient workflows using Temporal or a comparable platform, including retries, state transitions, and idempotency. \n

• An API-contract-first approach and the ability to translate established specifications into reliable, maintainable, and well-tested production systems. \n

• Strong hands-on AWS and PostgreSQL expertise, including infrastructure as code, ECS Fargate, Aurora PostgreSQL, S3, schema design, and performance optimization. \n

• Experience using agentic coding tools effectively and building systems with agentic workflows. \n

• The judgment to rigorously review AI-generated code while maintaining ownership of engineering quality and daily execution. \n

• Strong architectural judgment and the ability to operate as a senior technical owner within a small, highly capable engineering team.
