Data Engineer (SAS Programmer)Our client is seeking a Data Engineer (SAS Programmer) to support SAS modernization efforts by analyzing existing workflows, evaluating conversion complexity, and developing scalable data pipelines as part of a cloud migration initiative.Responsibilities & QualificationsAnalyze existing SAS workflows and define reusable SAS patternsSupport SAS-to-modern platform conversion initiativesEvaluate and validate SAS conversion complexity and feasibilityDevelop and optimize data pipelines using Python and SQLCollaborate with engineering and business teams to ensure accurate data transformationRequirementsStrong experience in SAS programmingProficiency in SQL and data manipulationWorking knowledge of Python for data engineering tasksExperience with data migration or modernization projects preferredStrong analytical skills with ability to assess and translate legacy systems
